President Zardari’s Official Visit to China: Key

Beijing: President Asif Ali Zardari arrived in China on Tuesday on a five-day official visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Asim Hussain was also accompanied by a delegation.

On his arrival at Beijing International Airport, President Zardari was received by Chinese Finance Minister Lan Fuan, Pakistani Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmi, and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zedong.

During the visit, the President will hold meetings with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and other senior Chinese political leaders.

The two sides will discuss issues of mutual interest, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, regional connectivity, and security cooperation.

At the special invitation of the Chinese government, President Zardari will attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.

President Zardari’s visit to China is important for further strengthening of China-Pakistan relations, with a special focus on increasing bilateral trade and commerce relations.
