PTI leadership crisis ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has severely criticised the party leadership and said that Imran Khan’s continuous imprisonment is the result of PTI’s political failure. He said that due to the party’s poor strategy and weak leadership, Imran Khan has to stay in jail.

Fawad Chaudhry, in his statement on social media, said that the leadership of PTI is suffering from chaos and disunity, which is causing direct damage to the party and its workers. According to him, the party has suffered a severe setback due to weak leadership and ineffective political strategy, and the opposition is taking advantage of this.

He further said that if the party does not take effective decisions as soon as possible, PTI may face more difficulties. Fawad Chaudhry advised the party leaders to end their differences and unite and take concrete steps for the release of Imran Khan.

It should be noted that Imran Khan was imprisoned last year as a result of court proceedings, and PTI’s efforts to secure his release have not met with much success so far. After Fawad Chaudhry’s statement, a new debate has erupted in political circles about whether the PTI leadership has really failed in its strategy or not.

According to political analysts, PTI’s internal divisions and leadership weakness are proving to be detrimental to the party, and if the situation is not brought under control at the earliest, the party’s political credibility may suffer further.
